THE PROJECT
Bathroom Remodels
Older homes ask a particular question of any renovation: how much do you change, and what do you leave alone? This client wanted modern amenities without losing what makes the house what it is.
The work covered the primary bathroom and a powder room on the main floor. In both, the approach was to update the function and the fixtures while keeping the detailing in conversation with the rest of the home, so the rooms feel current without feeling imported from a different house.
It is a smaller project than some, and that is often where this kind of restraint matters most. In two rooms, there is less room to hide a decision that does not belong.
